I love the little bits of wonder in the natural world. The edges of patterns and patterns of edges intrigue me, drawing me in. With my camera, I seek the intimate and the irony and the understated beauty that is all around us. Every day spent with my camera is etched in time and in my mind. I seek to not only record what I see but to document how I feel so that others may know me. And everyday I learn more about both.
Growing up in northern Michigan, much like northern New England, one readily gains a rich appreciation for the natural world. Scott's images have been published in travel guides and magazines, and have been on display in many local galleries including River Tree Center for the Arts and the York Art Association. Scott teaches a variety of photography classes in local community adult education programs, conducts workshops, and works freelance and on assignment.
